The annual FMC photo competition is to encourage anyone to get out into our beautiful outdoors and capture that special shot, and to share your most amazing photos with like-minded people.

As an FMC member organisation, the Canterbury Mountaineering Club is encouraging members to get amongst, share their talent and hopefully come away as part of the prize pool! We will be hosting an internal competition so that two photos can be submitted in each of the seven categories:

  • ABOVE BUSHLINE (With No Human Element)
  • ABOVE BUSHLINE  (With A Human Element)
  • BELOW BUSHLINE (With No Human Element)
  • BELOW BUSHLINE  (With A Human Element)
  • HISTORIC
  • NATIVE FLORA & FAUNA
  • LONG EXPOSURE

The FMC deadline is the 15th of September – as a result, CMC submissions will close on the 31st of August so that the top two images in each category can be chosen by a panel of members from the Committee and progressed to the FMC.
