Itinerary: This is a trip to climb the Main Divide route (2+) on the Footstool, Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park. Approach via winter route on spur to Sefton Biv. Rest there some hours then summit via couloir. Descent via same route.
Dates: 5-6 November 2022. Departing Christchurch Sat morning, return Sun night.
Equipment: Full avo gear, headlamp, helmet, two axes, some screws and stakes, half rope, rigid mountaineering boots, harness, belay device, sleeping bag, matt. Water bottles.
Participants: This trip will be one group of 2-3 climbers.
