The Inaugural East West Climb Fest is on!

Fostering the bond between the Canterbury Mountaineering Club and the West Coast Alpine Club in our shared tūrangawaewae – Arthur’s Pass National Park. The weekend will include self-organised day trips on Saturday and Sunday, with a shared feed and entertainment on Saturday evening at the Arthur’s Pass Community Centre with guest speaker Paul Hersey.

The theme of the weekend (and a conversation with Paul) is “In Praise of the Moderate Mountaineer” celebrating the value of time in the mountains without the need to be cutting edge, or pushing boundaries. Should make for some lively discussion throughout!
The cost is $50pp including two nights of accommodation and Saturday dinner.
