🏕️ 1 pt for visiting the hut (3 points for Empress due to the Hooker Valley bridge closure)
💤 1 pt for staying overnight
🧗 1–7 pts for climbing a route (graded via the 1982 Mount Cook system — as it’s the most complete climbing grading system in the world)
🔧 3 pts for hut maintenance (Keep an eye out for other hut maintenance bonus points / hints from the huts team throughout the year)
At year’s end, the top hut baggers may win sweet gear or just eternal glory in the club archives. Even if you don’t top the leaderboard, your alpine tales will be way better than your mates.
