Penciling in the last weekend of May to do a trip up to Lyell Hut to do some work on the hut. Leaving Christchurch Friday evening and driving, cycling, then walking into Banfield hut for the night, then complete the rest of the journey on Saturday morning. This will depend on river levels so we will make a call the week of the trip if it needs to be postponed.
This will leave the rest of the weekend to work on the hut – Robin Murison will be leading the charge on this one and let us know what work needs to be done.
