What? This is a free event for everyone including non-cmc members although a $10 -$15 donation is welcome. Donations can be made HERE.
The CMC are hosting our inagural art auction where you can bid or buy pieces of art from 30+ artists, including mountain landscapes, photography, sculptures and other creative pieces, there is something for everyone! There will also be wine, beer and non alcoholic drinks for sale as well as bar snacks available, this will be a fun and interactive evening where we will mingle and be entertained with live music and a professional auctioneer. All proceeds from drink sales and a commission from the art auctioned will go to the CMC centennial fund, this will be used for publishing the CMC centennial book and funding other events next year. Where? On the second floor of the Tūranga Library Central City Christchurch
When? Doors open at 6pm to grab a drink, socialize and browse the art on offer. The Auction will be starting at 7pm, aim to arrive before this time to avoid distruptions. Art sales will be conducted from 8pm and the venue will close at 9pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
