Avalanche Awareness – 24th – 25th August

Description: Learn about identifying avalanche terrain, snowpack, travel planning, information gathering, introduction to rescue. MSC approved course including info pack and certificate.

Pre-requisites: Basic snowcraft course or equivalent and completion of the free online avalanche education modules at https://avalanche.net.nz/education/

Venue: Temple Basin, Arthur’s Pass

Cost: $360 per person

Accommodation: 2 nights at Kennedy Lodge, Arthur’s Pass

Date: 24th – 25th August. Arrive Friday night 730pm, finish Sunday 4pm.
